CIX To End Group Activities + Yonghee To Join Military

We are making an announcement about CIX’s future activities.

CIX, who have participated in various activities with their fans for the past seven years after their debut on July 21, 2019, will now be ceasing their group activities.

Although we repeatedly engaged in serious and in-depth discussions with the members over several months about continued group activities, everyone eventually came to the agreement that ceasing group activities was inevitable at this time.

While we poured our hearts into the CIX brand and gave our all in producing the group’s music, choreography, videos, performances and broadcasts, both the members and the company feel a deep sense of sadness over this decision.

Accordingly, as of April 30th, our exclusive contracts with members BX and Seunghun will end.

In addition, after the decision to stop group activities, member Yonghee voluntarily applied for military enlistment, and after undergoing basic military training at a training center starting on May 11, he will fulfill his military duty in the army as an active duty soldier.

Yonghee’s exclusive contract ends at the time of his enrollment, and there will be no separate event held on the day of his enrollment. However, we are preparing a small event for Yonghee to say goodbye to his fans before his entry, and the details will be announced at a later date through a notice on the fan cafe.

We are providing support to member Hyunsuk so that he can focus on the drama he is currently filming, and as a result, his exclusive contract ends on May 31st.

We ask that you give warm encouragement to the members who will do their best in their respective lives and show new sides of themselves in new environments.

We will continue to make tangible efforts, including continuous communication with the members, in the hope that one day in the future the CIX brand can return to you with music that is clearly CIX’s unique style.
