BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Suddenly Cancels Public Appearance, Sparks Emotional Response

As public inquiry of BLACK PINKsay Jisoo continues regarding her brother’s abuse allegations, the idol responded to speculation.

Earlier this month, a man said to be Jisoo’s brother, Kim Jung Hun, was arrested after a report filed by a female streamer accused him of sexual assault, extortion and more. Further allegations were made against Kim by his alleged wife.

Because of this, Jisoo faced backlash, which led to the idol agency responding in turn. Recently released statements stated that Jisoo’s business has no ties to Kim Jung Hun and that she has essentially cut ties with him.

The idol has now responded to the scandal in a different way.

Usually, when idols leave for schedules abroad, media outlets report on their departure with live streams and short interviews.

Jisoo has a schedule in Paris in the coming days, and the media would probably be met in the same way on the day of her departure. However, Dimaco, a fashion marketing company helping to organize it, announced that her public appearance had been cancelled.

Due to unavoidable internal circumstances, the scheduled press coverage of Jisoo’s airport departure has been canceled for today.
