5th Gen Idol sneaks out of Restaurant Due to Expensive Prices

A 5th gen idol is going viral after sharing a hilarious story about high prices overseas. KickFlipsay Kyehoon recently opened up to fans about his time in the US, admitting that the cost of living caught him completely off guard.

I shared that while he had many things he wanted to try, he quickly realized how expensive everything was, especially food. Instead of eating out, he revealed that he ended up buying relatively cheap pork from a supermarket and grilled it at his hotel with fellow member Donghwa.

“There was so much I wanted to do. Wow, but the prices in America are no joke. That’s why me and Donghwa ended up buying some cheap samgyupsal at the mart at night and fried it in the hotel. LOL.”

They tried eating out at a KBBQ place, but ended up being shocked by the prices. Rather than ordering, he came up with a quick escape plan. I snuck out of the restaurant after that!

“I went into a KBBQ place with Donghwa, but they charged ₩60,000 KRW (about $40.90 USD) for one serving, so I was going to take a call and immediately came out. I told Donghwa, ‘hyung will leave first, so you just have to follow me on your own.’ This is America so I was like ‘Sup bro long time no see’ as I was going to be on a call and left. “America is so expensive.”
