Mike Colter and Finn JonesDaredevil: RebornSeason 3 will feature ‘Jessica Jones’ star Krysten Ritter. The trio appears to be gearing up to reunite the ‘Defenders’ cast for the upcoming ‘Daredevil’ season.

Colter, Jones, and Ritter each released their own MCU streaming series in the mid-2010s. Ritter’s show first debuted in 2015 with the release of “Jessica Jones.” Colter introduced the “Luke Cage” series in 2016. Jones received his own “Iron Fist” show in 2017. “Jessica Jones” had the longest season with three seasons, while “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist” both had two seasons. All three series were originally released on Netflix, but are now married on Netflix. Disney+.

‘Daredevil’ originally premiered in 2015 and aired on Netflix for three seasons until 2018. Disney then brought back the blind crime-fighting lawyer in ‘Daredevil: Born Again.’ Season 1 was released on Disney+ in March 2025. Season 2 is currently streaming, with new episodes released every Tuesday.

While ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ appears to be setting up a major TV team-up, showrunner Dario Scardafane said: SFX Magazine He said he doesn’t expect any crossovers with Marvel’s movie heroes.

“The joke we have is, ‘Oh, they’re uptown. We’re downtown!’ It’s like we have a pocket in the Hell’s Kitchen world of New York,” Scardapane said. “I always think these characters might take a little vacation into the larger world, but the stories we’re focused on are really granular.
