Legendary girl group member still hasn’t moved out of the dorms

Recently, Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon appeared on a TV show and shared her reasons for still living in the hostels after 19 years.

The MCs were surprised to learn that the production team went to the residence to bring in their refrigerator for the show.

Ahn Jung Hwan asked “Do you stay alone in the dorm for 19 years even after all the other members have left?”

Hyoyeon replied, “That’s right,” confirms that she is still living the dorm life.

However, her reason for not leaving the residence was clear. Although her family lives in Songdo, there was no better option than the hostel to handle her busy schedule in Seoul.

I live here because it makes my daily schedule easier. It is a convenient place, and most importantly they take good care of us with meals, so there is no better place than this.

She also shared her special bond with the resident band, who have been with them since before their debut.

Although I manage my own fridge, if there is something I want to eat, I ask Auntie. She is the resident tannie from before I debuted with the group.
