BLACKPINK’s “new” video draws huge mockery ahead of comeback

BLACK PINK‘s “new” video to celebrate the Lunar New Year has caused much derision.

February 17th is the Lunar New Year, and while many groups share messages through social media, BLACKPINK caused confusion because their “new” video was linked to their game.

The video showed the members separately in beautiful hanboks, with messages to celebrate the new year.

The video gained attention when it was posted online.

Still, the video caused backlash and ridicule.

While some thought it looked like AI, others pointed out that while it was meant to celebrate the Lunar New Year in 2026, looking at the members and their footage, it looked like the video was filmed quite a few years ago.
