In response to the images, Jennie was subjected to body shaming about her size and accused of acting “childish” to appeal to men with a “Lolita” theme. Lolita refers to the novel by Vladimir Nabokov, which depicts a pedophilic relationship between the novel’s main character and a 12-year-old girl.

Many have come to Jennie’s defense, saying there is nothing wrong with her body size. In addition, fans questioned why Jennie was having fun and smiling was “childish” behavior, completely denying the allegations.

While allegations of appealing to sexual predators are a serious issue, Jennie’s existence as a petite woman does not equate to “preying” on such individuals.
