Big Korean actors released “The Voice of Hind Rajab” in South Korea

The Oscar-nominated docudrama, The voice of Hind Rajabwill see a theatrical release in South Korea, and actor So Ji Sub you played a significant role in making this happen.

The Korean trailer for the movie, which was released last week, included a narration by the actor, which briefly tells the story of Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl trapped alone in a bombed car in Gaza, who pleaded with the Red Crescent Society for help before she was shot dead by the Israeli army on January 29, 2024. So Ji Sub closed the trailer with, тАЬ“I add my voice so that Hind’s voice does not disappear.”

Apart from the role of the narrator, So Ji Sub is also one of the co-producers of the film. He is supporting the film’s domestic release in a joint partnership with Squid Game production company, Firstman Studio.

However, So Ji Sub is not the only big Korean celebrity to support this release. Actress Bae Doo Na also slowed down her voice to the trailer’s narration and ended it with the same line, ““I add my voice so that Hind’s voice does not disappear.”

Most recently the same trailer with actress Lee Joo Young‘s voice has also been released, suggesting that many more prominent names may participate in the release in similar ways.
