Audrey Beth Davis dies: Entertainment publicist was 82

Audrey Beth Davis, a retired entertainment publicist who worked for The Lippin Group, has died. She was 82 years old.

Davis died of natural causes Friday in Pennsylvania surrounded by family, friends and caregivers, The Lippin Group announced.

She was born October 17, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from Midwood High School in 1960. Before beginning her public relations career, Davis worked at Goodson Todman. match game.

In the late ’70s, she joined Stone Associates, and partner Dick Lippin brought her to his new firm, Lippin & Grant. Davis continued with the company as it transitioned to Lippin Group in 1986, and remained with Lippin until his retirement in 2008 as Executive Vice President.

“Audrey was a member of our founding team and it was a sad day when she retired,” said Dick Lippin, Chairman and CEO of Lippin Group. The Hollywood Reporter. “She was a wonderful, loving woman and consummate professional.”

During her career in entertainment public relations, Davis focused on television, working on a variety of titles over the years. Some of the shows she lent her talents to included beloved hits such as: golden girls; empty nest; ship of love; law and order; Law & Order: Special Victims Unit; Law and Order: Criminal Intent; and the Emmy Award-winning CBS miniseries.
