Indian National Film Award-winning filmmaker Sudanshu Saria He is producing two debut films under his Four Line Films banner – Mumbai social drama ‘Pech’ and Silicon Valley biopic ‘Silverfish’, the latter of which was screened as one of the five projects selected for the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) Industry Showcase.
‘Pech’, written and directed by Kumar Chheda, is a young adult film set in Mumbai that explores class and alienation. The project made its industry debut at the Bangkok International Film Festival’s Pitch Market, where it won the Jury Prize, and has since attracted the attention of international co-producers and sales agents, and is currently in discussions in several areas.
Chheda is an AFiS graduate whose short film тАЬDal BhatтАЭ won IndiaтАЩs Best Short Film Award. <эОШь╣Ш>is his feature-length directing debut.
“Three years ago, we began a joint effort to develop and source talent that we can support with the guidance and support I wish I had received when I began my career. ‘Pech’ and ‘Silverfish’ are the first projects to go into production, and their filmmakers represent the bold, new voices I hope to see for years to come,” said Saria.
‘Silverfish’, co-written by Saria, is a horror film that follows a creature unleashed in the tech corridors of Silicon Valley. This is Krishna’s first feature-length director and screenplay.
Krishna’s previous work includes the psychological thriller short “Padmavyuha”, starring Jaaved Jaaferi and premiered at the Toronto International Indian Film Festival.
Both films are in pre-production. Saria’s directing credits include “Loev,” “Knock Knock Knock” and “Ulajh.”
