Upcoming drama “Yumi’s Cells 3” has shared the main trailer ahead of its premiere!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s cellsтАЭ tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi (Kim Go Eun)тАФfrom the point of view of the many brain cells in her head that control her every thought, feeling and action.

The main trailer shows the dynamic shift in Yumi and Soon Rok’s relationship. Despite her neat, polished appearance, Soon RokтАФthe PD who works with herтАФtriggers Yumi’s “anger button” at all times with reactions that are somehow always just a little off. His arrival brings a heart-fluttering change to Yumi’s once peaceful routine. When Yumi says, “A Maltese can be smart too, you know,” he shoots back without even blinking, “Don’t Maltese dogs eat shit too?” тАУ and his not at all normal move to put his headphones in himself on a bus they ride with adds to the laughs.

Even as she grumbles, “The more I think about it, the more ridiculous it is,” a change in Yumi is caught on cameraтАФshe looks strangely upbeat. After being struck like a bolt out of the blue by Soon Rok’s smile, Yumi’s heart begins to beat, and her everyday life gradually begins to change.

Before long, Rok’s unexpected charm also stands out. When Yumi gets down, he offers gentle comfort, saying, “You were cool. You’re cool.” And when Dae Yong (Jeon Seok Ho) notes that Yumi and Ju Ho (Choi Daniel) look good together, Soon Rok fires right back, “No. They don’t.” His blunt directness makes viewers look forward to the dynamic love-hate romance that lies ahead.

“Yumi’s Cells 3” will air on April 13 at 6:00 PM KST.
